The Reason For The Season
He left His throne, and heaven, His Home,
To bring light, the gift of life, to the blind.
By virgin birth, He entered the earth,
His mission, to redeem mankind.
Emmanuel... The Lamb of God,
Gave it All, at Calvary.
Nails through His hands, and through His feet,
His body broken, hanging, from a Tree.
The price of our sin, it had to be paid,
In the currency of His Blood.
The Roman spear, that pierced His side,
It drenched the ground, with its flood.
He died for all, who call His name,
He would have died, for just one, or two.
He gave His life, from His heart of Love,
He gave His ALL.
